Welcome to the Archangel Diocese

True Orthodox Church of the Diaspora

A Confessor Witness to the Faith of the Holy Fathers

Beloved in Christ,

“Stand fast in the faith; be brave, be strong” (1 Cor. 16:13). With these apostolic words, we welcome you to the Archangel Diocese of the True Orthodox Church of the Diaspora—a spiritual refuge for all who seek the unchanged, unbroken, and uncompromised Orthodox Faith.

In an age when the world grows increasingly distant from God, the Church continues her ancient struggle: to preserve the purity of the Gospel, to guard the Holy Tradition, and to keep the flame of true piety alive in the hearts of the faithful.

The saints teach us that Orthodoxy is not merely a belief, but a way of life—a continual ascent toward God through repentance, prayer, and sacrificial love. As St. Anthony the Great reminds us, “A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him.” We live in such a time, when the Church must shine all the more brightly.

Here in the Archangel Diocese, we strive to embody this patristic and ascetical vision. We uphold the Old Calendar, preserve the purity of the Divine Services, and maintain the sobriety of mind that has always characterized true Orthodoxy. Our parishes and missions seek to be havens of prayer, charity, and spiritual healing—places where the faithful may echo the Psalmist: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Ps. 45/46:1).

Under the protection of the Holy Archangels and the guidance of our hierarchs, we labor to keep the apostolic faith alive in the diaspora. Whether you are returning to the Church, discovering Orthodoxy for the first time, or seeking a deeper spiritual life, we welcome you with the love of Christ and the blessing of His Holy Church.

May the prayers of the saints strengthen you, may the grace of the Holy Mysteries sanctify you, and may the peace of Christ dwell richly in your heart.

With archpastoral blessing,

+ Archbishop Alexios Archangel Diocese
